Now more than ever, museum voices are needed.

Wisconsin Federation of Museums is joining the nationwide effort to advocate for museums by participating in the annual Museums Advocacy Day 2024. Bringing together museum professionals, advocates, and supporters from across the country, Museums Advocacy Day provides a venue for colleagues and legislators to discuss the importance of museums as cultural, educational, and economic resources.

By actively engaging in Museum Advocacy Day, WFM continued the organization’s commitment to raising awareness and championing the crucial role of museums in our communities and beyond, passionately voicing support for increased funding, policy changes, and legislative measures to bolster the sustainability of museums and ensure their continued contribution to society.
